What is self-love? beautiful shoes? Killer Shoes? Beautiful expensive bag? But this isn’t at all self love those are rewards or gifts that you spoil yourself with. Self-love for me is broader and deeper. It’s a journey of finding your inner self. Thousand of people can tell thousand stories about you but if you don’t have self -love, all these thousand stories could just be stories about you and not you.

Self-Love: I am not beautiful like you but I am beautiful like ME!

Self-Love: I rather be unpopular than to be popular with fake people.

Self-Love: I know who I am and I will not let anyone tell me who I should be.

Self-Love: I own my own happiness not you.

It is merely regards for one’s own well-being and happiness. This is a new journey I am starting to discover and fall in love with myself. I want you to be part of this journey. Walk with me, cry with me, laugh with me, discover with me, grow with me, pray with me, teach with me, learn with me, fall with me, rise with me and mostly love yourself with me.

Self-love isn’t about dressing all up and following the latest fashion trends. You can be as glamorous as a Christmas tree but if you don’t love yourself it is all a waste. It’s about finding that inner self and loving it. Self-love is about an expression of beauty and joy. Its about the right, the power and the ability to create a very loving world for yourself and others. The ability to love yourself with all your imperfections. The ability to forgive yourself. The ability to accept the things that you can not change and learn from all your downfalls. The ability to pull yourself up. It’s all about being comfortable in your own skin. The ability to not give people permission destroy you. The ability to see good in every situation, to be attracted by positive people and never give up.

This is a journey I am starting where I want to be a better mother, daughter, sister, friend, student, business woman and a child of God. To erase all the negativity around me and to create an atmosphere where I can live with all my imperfections. An atmosphere which isn’t toxic for my friends and family. To create a world where my children can find joy, peace and happiness. I want to be a woman who one day another woman can say ” because of you I didn’t give up”. I look up to many women and because of them I keep trying each and everyday to be a better me.
